About Hunan
Hunan Restaurant originated in Grand Island, Nebraska. Since its opening in the early 80’s, Hunan has spread throughout the entire mid-west. Its success is due largely to its solid reputation for quality, elegance, and style. Fred Yu still maintains ownership at the mother location.
Hunan prides itself on handmade sauces and made fresh to order entrees. Master Chefs are carefully selected to provide customers with the finest cuisine. From egg rolls and crab rangoon to sesame chicken and flower steak, everything is prepared from scratch in the Hunan kitchen. The menu offers over one hundred items and chefs also prepare suggested entrees.
For those who lack the time to enjoy Hunan’s atmosphere, carryout is also available. Under Mr. Yu’s ownership, Hunan has expanded into delivery and catering services. We offer catering as well, perfect for wedding, national pharmaceutical introductions, and office parties.
